My first formal teaching job started in CNE1. It is where I started to hone my craft: teaching. Here, I learned that teaching English doesn’t have to be difficult nor boring. I teach English to learn more from people I come in contact with every day.

Through stories from my students, I learn vicariously about life beyond my borders. When I first came to CNE1, I fell in love with it; four years later, it’s still a place I call home.
